Our Wines

Our Ingredients

Our vines were introduced to this region through The University of Minnesota. They were developed to handle the harsh winters of the northeast and can survive temperatures in excess of 30 below zero.

On occasion we will source grapes from California to include in our wines, as well as local ingredients like apples and maple syrup.

Rows of grapevines in the fall.

Red Wines

Petite pearl wine.

Petite Pearl

The Petite Pearl is a beautiful grape with a tight cluster. The taste is full-bodied with substantial tannins, and it finishes very well. It is complex and very fruit-forward.

Marquette wine.

Marquette

Marquette is a larger producer for us and in good years we blend it with Petite Pearl to offer a third red wine. The Marquette is the premier red wine grape in the area. The wine is dry to semi-dry and has notes of black currant, cherry, and black pepper.

Pinot Noir

This year we are producing a Pinot Noir, using grapes from the Lodi region in California.

Cabernet Sauvignon

This year we are also producing a cabernet sauvignon. It will have a rich flavor from darker fruit flavors and our own recipe to give it a unique taste.

White Wines

La Crescent wine.

La Crescent

La Crescent is a white grape variety and is a semi-dry to sweet white wine. Not sweet as in sugary. It is a nice wine to sip on a sunny summer day. With notes of apricot, it is similar to a German Riesling.

Frontenac Blanc wine.

Frontenac Blanc

Frontenac Blanc is our strongest white wine producer. It is very vigorous and produces a dry white wine. It is similar to a Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay.

Pinot Grigio

You will enjoy our Pinot Grigio, it has a great taste of sweet fruits you're familiar with.

Please note: we do not grow the grapes for the Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay; we purchase those from elsewhere to supplement our production.

Wines completely produced on site will have "Vermont Grown Grapes" on the label

Rosé & Fruit Wines

Frontenac Gris rosé.

Frontenac Gris

Frontenac Gris is almost a grey grape that produces a nice rosé. It has notes of grapefruit, peach & pineapple. We've added our own recipe to give it a unique taste.

Green Apple
Riesling

This fruit wine gives you the flavor of eating a green apple! We've added our own recipe to give it the rich and sweet flavor you're used to, but with a unique flavor.
